·         Tumor markers – these markers are normal in the developmental or early stages cancer, and may remain in normal ranges even with obvious cancer nodules or masses. It is important to follow the trend of the marker over time and assess whether the marker is gradually increasing. This would be a definite risk factor. The test should be done every 6 or 12 months, unless there is a prior history of cancer or other risks
